Am 15. Juni findet die
Präsentation des Konzepts für das Theaterstück der ukrainischen Künstlerin Vladyslava Chentsova statt, die von Styria-Artist-in-Residence
unterstützt wird.
Das Projekt "Those Who Are Within Me" beschäftigt sich mit der Erforschung der eigenen
Identität. Es zielt darauf ab, in die vielseitige Natur der Identität einzutauchen und die verschiedenen Einflüsse und Perspektiven
zu hinterfragen und zu untersuchen, die das Selbstverständnis des Einzelnen prägen. In diesem Projekt wird das komplexe Geflecht
aus persönlichen Erfahrungen, kulturellem Hintergrund, gesellschaftlichen Erwartungen und inneren Überlegungen analysiert.
Das Drehbuch des Stücks basiert auf einer Neuinterpretation von Interviews, die mit Jugendlichen aus Österreich und
der Ukraine geführt wurden.
Die Konzeptpräsentation besteht aus Lesungen bestimmter Skriptfragmente sowie einer
Vorführung von Puppen, die speziell für diese Aufführung geschaffen wurden, um die innere Welt der Hauptfiguren zu verkörpern.
Im Anschluss an die Präsentation wird ein Gespräch organisiert, bei dem die Gäste ihre Eindrücke von dem Stück diskutieren
und ihre Gedanken mitteilen können.
Vladyslava Chentsova ist Schauspielerin, Performerin, Puppenspielerin
und Puppenmacherin. Sie hat ihren Abschluss an der I. P. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Music and Theater in
der Ukraine gemacht. Sie hat sowohl in der Ukraine als auch im Ausland als Regisseurin von Puppentheaterstücken gearbeitet.
Außerdem ist sie Schauspiellehrerin für Erwachsene und Kinder. Sie hat an zahlreichen europäischen Theaterfestivals teilgenommen.
Aufgrund des von Russland angezettelten Krieges wohnt und arbeitet sie derzeit in Graz.
EN:On June 15th, the presentation of the concept for the play by Ukrainian artist Vladyslava Chentsova, with the support of
Styria-Artist-in-Residence, will take place.
The project "Those Who Are Within Me" focuses on the exploration of
self-identity. It aims to dive into the many-sided nature of identity, questioning and examining the various influences and
perspectives that shape an individual's understanding of themselves. This project analyzes the complex tangle of personal
experience, cultural background, social expectations, and internal reflections.
The script of the play is based
on a reinterpretation of interviews conducted with young people from Austria and Ukraine.
The concept presentation
consists of readings of specific script fragments, as well as a demonstration of puppets, that were created specifically for
this performance to embody the inner world of the main characters. Following the presentation a conversation will be organized,
where guests can discuss their impressions of the play and share their thoughts.
Vladyslava Chentsova is an actress,
performer, puppeteer, and puppet-maker. She graduated from the I. P. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Music and
Theater in Ukraine. She has worked as a director of puppet shows both in Ukraine and abroad. Additionally, she is an acting
teacher for both adults and children. She has participated in numerous European theater festivals. Due to the war initiated
by Russia, she currently resides and works in Graz.
